The Main Street Youth Center focuses on the whole individual:  body, mind and soul.

§      Drug free, quality supervised environment for youth to gather with their peers.

Programs

Main Street Youth Center (MSYC) is a community youth center for youth ages 7- 18 years old. MSYC seeks to support and strengthen the youth in body, mind, soul, and spirit.

MSYC has been in operation for 19 years and strive to provide a drug free, quality supervised environment for youth to gather with their peers.

Programs Offered

After-school Program
(Free Snacks and Tutoring available) - Mondays through Fridays 3:00 - 5:30pm

Youth Activities
Fridays and Saturdays 7:00 - 10:00pm - free games (such as pool, ping-pong, foosball, Dance Dance Revolution, Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo, Playstation 2, and Sega, board games and outdoor basketball facilities, as well as music and fellowship

NBA (no boys allowed)
2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 2:00 - 4:00pm (girls ages 12-18) - NBA is a girls only club with activities, games, food, topical discussion, giveaways, as well as special guest speakers (No two meetings are alike)

NFL (not for ladies)
2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 4:00 - 6:00pm (guys ages 12-18)

NFL is a guys only club with activities, games, food, topical discussion, giveaways, as well as special guest speakers (No two meetings are alike)

Raptime
Sunday’s nights a time fellowship, games, devotion and music from 5:30 - 7:30

There will be a meeting of local United Way agencies at 4:00 PM.

CUBS
Wednesday, March 12, 2007
There will be a CUBS meeting at 12:00 Noon at Glendale Church. This will be an informative meeting with area agencies.

Froggie Fest Concert
Saturday, July 7, 2007
The United Way and our agencies will be working Concessions for the Froggie Fest Concert. MSU has assisted the United Way in allowing the proceeds to benefit our local agencies. Thank you MSU!

Softball Tournament
Friday, July 27, 2007
Each year the United Way coordinates a Softball Tournament played by local community and business teams. If you cannot play, come watch.

United Way Auction- Chairs, Etc.

At this year’s Auction we are anticipating up to twenty-five chairs and a few unique items to be auctioned. Local artist donate their artwork and crafts for the proceeds to be given back to the United Way and the community served. The event will be at Murray Country Club with the reception beginning at 5:30 PM. The auction starts at 7:00PM sharp. Tickets will be limited and available soon.
